The High Commission supported South African author Ms Sindiwe Magona during the launch of the French edition of her book Mother to Mother. The launch took place in Ottawa on 24 October 2019 during an event titled “South Africa, 25 Years after Apartheid”. The event constitutes the third edition of the annual event Reforging Histories hosted by l’Espace de la diversité (EDLD) in collaboration with Mémoire d’encrier.
