The BRICS group of countries exists not only to strengthen government-to-government relations but also to forge stronger ties between the people of the five nations.
The BRICS agenda is about more than the five member states. It places a high premium on cooperation with other emerging markets and developing countries and aims to establish effective dialogue mechanisms with them.
