The Professional Development Institute and the University of Ottawa co-hosted the 4th Canada’s Ambassador of the Year & Public Diplomacy Awards on 2 June 2023. South Africa’s High Commissioner to Canada, H. E. Rieaz ‘Moe’ Shaik, received the award for Canada’s Ambassador of the Year Award – Southern African region.
